Rainy Day Senior

The forecast for Sunday called for rain, wind, and cold temperatures.  It was right.  It rained almost all day long, but that didn't stop us from pictures!  I recruited my brother and cousin to follow me around holding umbrellas and props....which surprisingly worked wonders!  The rain made the shoot short and sweet, but didn't stop us from having some fun...using the old Camaro for a couple fun shots as well as a Packer jersey of course :)  Congrats Conor!  Thanks for enduring the rain with me! 

Another Milestone for the Princess

If you keep up with our blog, you know how special this precious little girl is to us. (You could also get the hint from the fact that this is the second post in a row of her :) Her smiles and giggles make it easy to capture her playful, sparkling personality. It has been so fun getting the opportunity to take her pictures at every milestone of her life so far...from belly to 9 months we cannot believe how much she has grown! We always told her momma when she was pregnant that we were praying for Ella to love the camera...and God has definitely answered that prayer...at least for now :) Check out how much more adorable our princess has become in just 3 months...

Six Months

Our beautiful Ella is six months! We cannot believe how fast she is growing! She is such a cutie...always laughing and smiling and making funny faces. She performed beautifully at her VERY EARLY Saturday morning photo shoot...showing us her sparkling eyes, precious smile, and adorable laughs. We love this girl so much and are so excited to give you a peak at her dazzling personality!

Claire Grace

You may remember the family of this beautiful little baby girl from our guessing game at the beginning of the year. We love them very much...and are so thankful that we continually get to photograph their family! We have been waiting for this precious little one to come for quite some time now...and we had a perfect early afternoon shoot with her in her girly pink bedroom a couple days after she finally arrived. We hope that you share our joy in meeting the darling Miss Claire Grace...








John, Steph, Courtney, and Caleb...thank you so much for sharing your precious gift with us. We cannot wait to see what God has in store for her!

Colleen

After three months of waiting, I am finally ready to share with you my crazy Colleen. Before it got too cold out, Colleen wanted to have her senior pictures done. It was really a challenge trying to make the wind blow in her favor, but the pictures turned out just right. We went to some crazy lengths trying to avoid any cliche poses, and rolling around in the leaves was just one of the funny things we tried. The mixture of Colleen's crazy personality and all the props on site brought a stunning look to her photos.

The final reveal:

Every couple months we get together with our friend, Karrie, and go to Olive Garden for a "date." We love our Olive Garden dates so much...stealing breadsticks, chatting with crazy waiters, and laughing so hard the entire restaurant stares. About a year ago, we found out that we weren't the only ones Karrie was going on dates with. It turns out that our friend, Jake, was also interested on taking Karrie on dates. :) Long story short...Jake proposed to Karrie. We took these two love birds downtown for their engagement pics, and went on quite an adventure. We ABSOLUTELY CANNOT WAIT for their wedding this summer, and are so thankful to be part of their lives! Congrats Jake & Karrie!

When we got asked to take pictures for this wonderful family, we were incredibly excited! We have known this family for quite a while...and have been influenced by their faith and love in many ways. It was a joy to spend an afternoon with this good looking bunch...check out some shots!

More Christmas Cuties

We have another reveal for you...


This one is especially exciting for me to share with you...because these Christmas cuties are my cousins! While I have taken their pictures in the past, this time was super fun for two reasons... 1. It was a surprise shoot for their grandparents! They wanted to make sure to keep it a secret so their grandparents would be extra surprised when they gave them the prints on Christmas. 2. It was the first time I got to take pictures of my baby cousin, Kya. She was a little crabby at times, but did surprisingly well being held by her cousins! :) It was a pleasure to spend some time with these kiddies and their mommas in November...and I am excited to share with you the results! Take a look...

You may be wondering about the four classy ladies above. So we'd like to introduce them to you, along with the rest of their family! Meet...the Jabaay family.


We rarely get the chance to shoot families made up entirely (or almost entirely) of adults. It was so much fun to spend a short afternoon with this good looking family! As much as we love the giggles and adventures that go along with the kiddos, it was a refreshing day of beautiful smiles and some freezing cold quality time with the Jabaays!
