Ella Belly

Over Christmas break, I screamed so loud in Red Robin that I thought I might just get kicked out. It was right after my Lisa asked Allie and I to do a maternity shoot for her in July. Well...it is now July and we FINALLY got the chance to get behind the camera and click away at her adorable basketball shaped belly. :) We are so excited to share our love and anticipation for this little girl with you. As much as we love these Ella belly pictures, we cannot wait to hold her in our arms in a couple weeks and take some pictures of her beautiful face and little hands and feet! This precious baby girl already means the world to us...and we cannot wait to be as amazing of friends with her as we are with her mommy.

A Beautiful Miracle

Not a photoshoot...just a reminder. I am reminded of Cleo's miracle every time I wake up and see his picture on my memo board. I think about all of the worries, fears, anticipation, doubt, prayers, hugs, God moments, and hope that marked the waiting process for Ryan and Sue and all of their friends and family. I also think about the moment I found out that he would be coming from his life in Haiti to his home in Crown Point, and the joy and thankfulness that went along with it. Cleo's homecoming was an incredible miracle...one that I praise God for daily...one that I have especially had on my mind when I see his smile and hear his giggles and feel his hugs and cuddles. So I just wanted to share a couple snapshots of this beautiful little boy that I am so thankful for.

some crazy family fun

We never knew a photoshoot with a family of 8 could be so much fun! :) The Porter family bought the photoshoot we put in the Student Ministries Pancake Breakfast in March, and we are so glad they did! We took their pictures a couple weeks ago and had a blast! They were so fun...giving piggy back rides, climbing trees, jumping in the air, and so much more--check it out...

You Make Me Smile :)

Talk about ADORBLE...Allie and I just finished Maya & Nolan's 4 year old shoot, and I believe they are two of the cutest 4 year olds on the face of the earth! Even the people passing by us during their shoot could not take their eyes off of these twin cuties. We are so thankful for Maya and her spunky sweet precious personality...and Nolan and his playful competitive heart-melting smile. We love them so much! They never cease to make us smile, and I hope this little taste of their shoot will make you smile as well! :)

The Perfect Pair

The feeling after an awesome photoshoot is one of the best feelings in the world...and this is the feeling I got after our photoshoot with J.S. & Val...that feeling that makes me want to sit at my computer for the entire night editing! :) This shoot was super crazy...full of jokes, bugs, mud, a crazy old lady, and those prickly things that get stuck all over your clothes and skin...but it was absolutely FABULOUS! amazing day + perfect weather + adorable couple = one of our most favorite photoshoots ever...
